Lab Rescue and Community Businesses

Dear Animal Lovers and Community Businesses,

We at Las Vegas Labrador Rescue would like to take this opportunity to wish you are Very Happy New Year.

We are happy to report that our rescuing efforts have far exceeded what we had projected for the year 2011, and we would like to continue upwards in 2012, rescuing and rehoming as many labs as we can.

With that said, our efforts would not be possible without the kind support of our community, and for that we say a BIG Thank You to those who have opened your heart, your homes and your wallets to our cause. We appreciate all of the assistance we have received, especially since we are 100% volunteer based and donation funded.

We have an event coming up in February, and we would love to hear you will participate anyway you can.

We would like to ask you to be invloved in our Virtual Event in honor of “Love Your Pet Day” February 20, 2012.

We are asking business owners to place one of our LVLR donation bins at their registers for the weekend of Feb 17-20 2012 (President’s Weekend) and if feasible help us out with one of the following:

1. Let us create a flyer together that customers will bring into your business the weekend stated in exchange for a portion of sales generated by flyer to be returned back to LVLR.

2. Place a basket of LVLR home baked dog treats at your register in exchange for 1.00 donation per bag of treats sold.

3. Donate a flat % of sales for a chosen day this weekend to LVLR.

4. Post flyers of our available dogs at your business or on your website.

We are going to be advertising this event and all participating businesses on our website, facebook, twitter and blog.

We will add links to the websites of all participating businesses.

We are also open to future adoption events at any business location as our schedule permits.

For those of you that do not own a business, would you still help us out at your place of employment if possible. We can provide you with a donation tin and/or dog cookies to sell if you can.
